VIC Spoon Carving Workshop, Drummond, March 6th 2025

Welcome to a creative day of mindfulness.
We'll carve a wooden spoon with a few simple hand tools from some fresh, Tasmanian grown wood. We'll use a carving axe, sloyd knife and a hook knife. Learn the process from start to finish, tree to table, with safe and effective techniques, transferable to all wooden spoon forms.
The workshop will take place in the beautiful country premises of Phoebe Everill Furniture in Drummond, half way between Kyneton and Daylesford in central Victoria.
The workshop is located on a working farm, with stunning views of the Wombat Forest.
All materials and tool use is provided. Tea and coffee facilities are available and lunch can either be brought along or purchased from nearby Malmsbury Bakery or Glenlyon General Store.
The workshop will start at 10am so arrive by 9.45am. Approximate finish time is expected between 4 and 5pm.
This workshop is suitable for all skill levels, from absolute beginners to those looking to hone their spoon carving skills.
