Option of either Monday 30th or Tuesday 31st March.
Suitable for all skill levels.

Join David, of Phoenix Creations, Tasmania, for a day of carving bliss.   You will create your own cooking spoon, using traditional methods with only edged hand tools. 

Throughout the day you will use a carving axe, sloyd knife and hook knife to fashion your own functional work of art from a piece of green wood. We will guide you through carving techniques and process which will give you a firm grounding in spoon making. 

This workshop is suitable for all skill levels- novice to those wanting to hone their skills, 16 yrs and over. All materials and tool use will be provided, as well as a yummy morning tea. Please bring your own lunch or grab something at the local corner store.

The workshop will take place at the beautiful country premises of Lost Trades Fair founders, Glen and Lisa Rundell, in Tylden, central Victoria, just an hour from Melbourne.

The workshops will start at 10am so arrive by 9.45am.
